SHALOM FARM: August / September / October 2012

Ok so Jodie is getting cuter by the day. Just look at the hands! that's how she slept for at least a hour.

After all that rain the kids took the windsurfer and where trying to surf on the water that was running down next to us.

Here are the scary pictures again.

Aimee has decided that Asher needs to be carried around in the bag. We had people visiting the other day and they called Asher a Santon Sheep. I had a good laugh and now that is what I call him, my Santon Sheep, he is suck a blessing to us all.

We had lots of snow around the last few days. I love to look out the window and see the snow around.

My kids have been doing there work so nicely and Jodie loves to be a part of the hole thing.

Jodie also has decided that she need to read as much as she can now while she is young so she can rule the world when she is older.

This is the water from the rain. It broke the road and it was pouring down.

My Hubby has made me a chicken house. It was a lovely day with the hole family helping the only down side was the weather as it was the cold day with the snow around.

John bought another bee hive. they are moving the bee`s into the new hive so that John has the old one to catch a new swarm with. John is carrying the super that is full of honey so that we can get honey and I need the bees wax to make my products with.

Chantel helped to take the honey and wax off.

Here I am pouring the honey into the jars. We got 10 jars per super. We have 7 hives now so next year we will get at least 70 jars of honey, the problem is that my Family eat a jar every two day, hehe.

My garden has taken off with beautiful flower and stunning colours

My vegetable garden. John has made me boxes to grow my plants in so that I don't have to bend down and we have found that there are hardly any weeds in then which is a very big blessing as my time is very limited. This first picture is my favourite with the rain pouring in the hoek. the next one is of my Sugar Snap Peas (I can live on them I tell you) then there are my cauliflowers.
