So we started this month out badly, Mousse our milk cow got tick bite fever and we needed to get her all injected up, then on Thursday they tried to steal our electrical wire so we sat with our electricity for 4 days. Thanks to John we did have lights and computers and the deepfreeze and fridge also made it through.
It is also Jodie’s 1st Birthday today and my Father’s as well. We bought a cake as we could not bake one. I would have to say that home made cakes are by far the best, this bought cake was spongy and they don't even put proper icing on, yuck.
Jodie having her first piece of chocolate cake and sooooo ENJOYING it.
We do get the most beautiful Sunsets here. Yaweh has blessed us with our sunrises and sunsets. This time of year is beautiful with all the new life, the blossoms are lovely. Every morning when I wake I get the pleasure of seeing new blossoms on the trees and watching the fruit starting to grow.
The kids doing exercise. Daniel did try so hard and he wanted to do it. It was so cute.
The little kids on the trampoline all having fun.
Last month I posted the pictures of the blue eggs, Out of the 3 eggs only 2 of them hatched and these are the 2 little chicks that we now have. They are very sweet and fluffy. The kids go and check on them everyday.
So the kids went to check on the birdies and they were gone, very sad. The cats must have found the chicks.
Sarah with flowers in hands and some of the other flowers around.
Aimee with Jodie, David, Sarah and naked Daniel walking the cows home for the day.
Aimee and Ismail putting plastic in my boxes so we could fill it with sand. Once filled I planted cherry tomatoes, large tomatoes and chillies. I want to make sweet chilly sauce when they have grown.
Sarah is helping Mommy make Apple and carrot muffin's. She loves to help in the kitchen with baking.
Before
Afterwards
This was just to cute, so yes I had to post this as well.
We made garlic, parsley and salt butter that was finished in about 5 seconds. Hahahahahahaha.
We spent the day in the garden getting out all the weeds and getting it ready for planting. So the planting has started and we should be seeing and eating some very yummy salads soon.
Daniel walked into a piece of corrugated iron and cut the side of his face and then a hour later he was hit in that eye with a hammer so he got a blue eye to end the day.
Some of Aimee’s flower arranging. Aimee enjoys to pick and arrange flower and then give it to people. She makes a arrangement and the waits for someone to drive past or come and visit then she can give it to them and put a smile on someone's face for the day.
So that is the end of September.
